Torian’s Christmas Memories

I loved how every Christmas we’ve always had a full house because our cousins would visit just about every year. My mom always hosts everyone and makes everyone’s favorite dishes. Her famous breakfast casseroles, lasagna, and cinnamon rolls…mmm!

As the baby of the family, finding the bell on Christmas morning built so much excitement and anticipation. On Christmas Eve I’d lie in my bed with my eyes wide open most of the night, just waiting for the morning to come.

Somehow, it always became the boys vs. the girls. I was very strategic and even though I was the youngest, I won a few times. I loved winning because that always meant I’d be the first to open a present and could go through the house ringing the bell waking up our parents. Not only that, but I also had bragging rights for a whole year! That was always my favorite part about the bell.

Mostly, it was just fun to look forward to every Christmas with my family. I hope you all love the bell in the box tradition, too!
